Alain Jouveau : designer jewelry

Born in 1955 in Le Mans, he then spent several years in Gabon, and at age 8 settled in the Lyons area with his parents.

His manual skills are very soon an evidence at school and he very naturally turns to jewellery , Lyons being then the European capital of that industry. He worked for several years for a number of renowned Lyons workshops before opening his own.

He then left Lyons for this quiet and beautiful region, the Perigord, to set up shop in Bergerac. Far away from City turmoil, he could concentrate on creating jewels. This self-made and passionate artist could at last let his imagination roam free. For 25 years, his welcome, his advice, the quality of his work and the care he brings to his finishing have made his narre a reference in the area.
